About the Artist
Exploring the space where observation becomes emotion.
I live in Bend, Oregon, where the natural beauty of the landscape has deepened my connection to both nature and art. Whether working in oil, acrylic, watercolor, or pencil, I am drawn to capturing fleeting moments and the beauty, emotion, and poetry they contain.
My work is inspired by artists such as John Singer Sargent, J.W. Waterhouse, Joaquin Sorolla, Peter Wood, and many others whose mastery of light, atmosphere, and storytelling continues to influence my journey. Each painting is an opportunity to move a little closer to expressing the feeling that first inspired it, a pursuit that, like most artists, I never expect to fully reach.
For me, the joy is found in the journey of growth and discovery rather than the destination. The greatest reward comes when a viewer forms a connection with a painting and finds meaning or emotion within it.
I am pleased to share my work with you and hope it inspires you as much as creating it inspires me.
